genuine honest person Member 2,769 Member For: 12y 5m 15d Gender: Male Location: near brisbane Posted 11/07/14 10:56 PM Posted 11/07/14 10:56 PM about 23 years ago when I was a apprentice ,the bosses wife parked here car and left it in drive (no handbrake ) she got out of the car and started walking towards the work shop ,she started running as she realised her car started rolling towards her .only at the last moment did she get out of the road and was save .the car hit the wall with a big bang .I saw it all happening but was to far away to do anything . the first thing she said why I did not try to stop the car ,my reply was I would not have been able to do nothing I was to far away .I then also said that the toyota landcruiser would have been to heavy to stop for me .she then turned around and said why would it roll I left it in drive so that it is in gear ,my reply was its a automatic not a manual and that's it has to be in park .she did not believe me and just made a smart ass remark and jumped back into the car and parked it (with the handbrake on ) she did not talk or look at me for over a month as if it was my fault .f*cking germans lol (I am german as well )
