Before you get it tinted try bob the tinter. He has tinted lots of cars in the sydney area and was doing special rates for forum members

Nice car mate, I would of gone the black but the boss hates black ended up with white.. Quick question what does your car idle at in drive once warmed up? Mine sits right on 500rpm which I think is a bit low but ford have told me within specs but the ford manual says 660rpm + or - 50rpm.

Nah, not at all actually. He did make sure I knew the price though but I'd said I was looking at the XR6T and G6ET so he probably figured I knew what I wanted, etc.

Thanks man. Mine idles at 500 when stopped and its not rough or anything. I remember reading somewhere (FG Media Release I think) that to get better fuel consumption they'd lowered idle to 550. If the computer is allowed, maybe it's able to reduce/increase it as required to maintain a steady idle?

Haven't read much of the manual yet, lol just been driving it. Also, revs normally drop when you put the car in Drive. Are you sure the 660 isn't for Neutral idle?

the ford workshop manual said 660 + or - 50 rpm in either park or drive, mines 500 -550 in either once warm... So it seems right mine idles fine as well.
