mrxd Member 74 Member For: 13y 9m 29d Gender: Male Posted 14/02/13 09:17 PM Posted 14/02/13 09:17 PM I got one of the regular sized ones for $15 off ebay from some bloke in Melbourne. Think his name is nbabattery or something like that. Been working fine for me, apart from trans temp. These cheap dongles are hit and miss. You either get a good one or a crap one.

spook Legacy Donating Member 180 Member For: 18y 4m 3d Gender: Male Posted 15/02/13 05:44 AM Posted 15/02/13 05:44 AM Hmmm, I think I have provided the wrong info earlier in this thread (apologies)I'm using Transmision Temperature(Method 1) and not Transmission Fluid Temp (PID 221674) as first thought. The attached pic shows some of the active sensors (in green) Torque is able to pick up. Notice the trans temp and it's value - taken 2 mins ago from my BF.Hope that helps clear up some of the confusion.

mrxd Member 74 Member For: 13y 9m 29d Gender: Male Posted 15/02/13 08:30 AM Posted 15/02/13 08:30 AM Its dependent on what I set "units" too in the torque settings. If I have it set to Fahrenheit I get 365F, if I set it to Celsius I get 185C. So the conversion is right. Just the value seems high. If it were 185F that would make more sense.

Also wats everyone's readings mine seems to be around 82' celcius at idle and cruising around.. that's with an external cooler though
