Roads between Launceston and St Helens were brilliant fun. Perfect weather and a clear run for the most part with traffic - only traffic was on the boring straight bits. Port Arthur ghost tour tonight - will tour the place tomorrow in the daylight then off to Queenstown tomorrow via Hobart and the Cascade Brewery. 600+ kms today Only issue I've noticed that could impact a group cruise has been fuel. 95 seems to be the only fuel that's reliably available (thank f*ck I got the 95 tune when I got the gas put on - gas run out when I hit the coast). Haven't seen a single 98 PULP and only a single LPG outlet. Lots of places don't even have 95. That said - I haven't been through any of the "main" towns where the options appear to be available. Any planned cruise would need to take the fuelling needs into account. Food's great, scenery is brilliant and the locals are fantastic. The roads alone are worth the trip.
