I haven't defected, still an aussie car bloke, just came to the reality many moons ago that whilst we can get pretty impressive numbers on the track with our straight 6 and ZF, that you can't really compete against something with 4wd and a dual clutch gearboxe on the street from a standing start. But once past 2nd gear my G6et will blitz the stock R35 though.

Expensive stuff, get it at trade price from Repco in Welshpool if you can't get a decent price locally.
