Depends on the dealer, I know mine fairly well as I used to take my 220kw AU XR6 there and never had an issue with them, but they know the potential of the Turbo so are a bit more cautious. Best bet is to ask...

AU chips, both V8 and 6 cyl are $600 according to Chiptorque website. I would expect BA ones to be much the same.
mercturbo Member 696 Member For: 23y 4m 24d Location: Geelong Posted 19/03/03 02:20 AM Posted 19/03/03 02:20 AM I am concerned that the xr8auto tranny was released 6months after the 6turbo due to the "strengthening" or upgrading requirements, this may indicate the 6turbo tranny is borderline capable for its 450nm torque, it may be the first thing to blow with a chip, I doubt Ford would replace it
