223rw is pretty healthy. indicates around 298kw at the fly, based on RWHP=FWKW.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Its not that much, my car makes 300 at the fly and it has 241rwkw, the drive train loss is closer to 25%. That would put the F6 at a bit over 270 funny enough.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

How do you know it makes 300 at the Fly ?? Had it on an engine Dyno have you :censored:

Most Dyno operators from their experience will tell you that the drop from fwk to rwk is approx 30% for autos and 20% for manuals. 223rwk is therfore approx 270fwk for an F6.

Julian reckons the best part of F6 is that people don't just hop in the back door when he is pulled up at the lights

Your a twit. How do you think I know that (I have a calculator!). Look, I made 195rwkw three times on three dynos in the last 12 months, summer and winter, when I got it edited it still made 195 before the edit on that day, then made 256rwkw on 10psi and has done twice more since then, not even 1kw variation. So my car has magically made 61rwkw more all by itself, no engine dyno needed. DO that math.

61 is 25% increase over stock output, so its very safe to assume that the engine is also producing a 25% increae in power (since its connected to those wheels on the dyno after all :msm: ). So 240 time 1.25 is 300. End of story, have a nice day. :spoton:

PS - That video looks suspiciously a lot like it was going down hill to me, do the next one with a spirit level on the screen.

One thing that people seem to misinterpret when working out power loss etc is how they convert RWKW back to FWKW.

If you say your car has a loss of 30% power from the FW to the RW then the correct way to work out the FW and RW power would be as following;

For eg your car made 223rwkw with an assumed 30% drive train loss.

RWKW to FWRW

Method 1.

223rwkw x 1.3 = 289.9fwkw

Method 2.

223rwkw / 0.7 = 318.57fwkw

Now if you work the other way FWKW to RWKW

Method 1.

289.9fwkw x 0.7 = 202.93rwkw WRONG

Method 2.

318.57fwkw x 0.7 = 223rwkw CORRECT

So you can see that going from rwkw to fwkw Method 2 is the correct mathematical way of working out the fwkw. Most people always use Method 1, which is wrong!!!

Thus if you car is making 223rwkw it would have the following rwkw;

20% power loss = 278.75fwkw

25% power loss = 297.33fwkw

30% power loss = 318.57fwkw

mm, well I have a vid of mine going 0-160, but I fried my op sys when the firewire card was installed. boots in safe mode, but I have to reinstall windows to try and recover the pc...

Mine runs an edit, my 1-2 change was a touch slow.. I was running out of track when the 140 came up, but thought stuffit, went to 160, slammed the brakes and just made the corner.....

I'll see if I can somehow get it up, this PC doesn't have a firewire either..... Might record onto my phone, link that up and see what happens...

Back shortly..
