so something ive noticed over the last few years of owning my car...

example - went down to the shops in Ellenbrook and parked away from everyone, almost a full row over from any other cars (I dont mind walking an extra 20 meters if it means I dont have to park near kerbs or other cars). walk into the shops for ~ 1/2 hour, walk back out and there is a new FPV pursuit 315 ute 1 spot over from mine. no other cars near me, just that 1.

similar thing happened in Joondalup a while ago. parked in the back corner of the multistory carpark, come back out and there is a R34 skyline on one side of me and a new Maloo on the other. no othjer cars within 10 car spots.

guess car lovers trust other car lovers.

That's one way of looking at it...another way is "I parked away from everyone on purpose, and come back to someone parking next to me despite being plenty of other free bays". Sh*ts me!

Happened to my bosses falcon after he filled up with a tanker there, car never ran the same again.

My cousin uses these to fill up his gokart tank, surprising how much sh*t it catches, its similar to these but no holes. More of a fiber paper

I'm with Dowen.

Happens regularly and sh*ts me too.

It would be okay if it was a maloo or fpv (well, maybe not a maloo) but not when it's a busted arse magna.

My missus parked her new Mondeo miles away from everyone once, didn't stop some f*ckstain from running into it and then taking off.

And yeah seriously I'm not a fan of filling up when a tanker is there. Inline filter is easily changed but intank not so much.

My woman doesn't understand why I park so far away from everyone. She often whinges about having to walk further and me being paranoid. Glad to hear there's others in the club

Rotflol, love that response Luke.

Ah Ciaran is still alive. Welcome back to the land of the living.

Got yourself another XR6T?

I know how you guys feel about parking far away.

It sometime s%_ts me, but if it is a decent car I dont mind.
