Yeh I have a company car, so dont drive my typhoon much. Probably do 2000ks per year or so. Not concerned about leaving rubber on road. Last cruise was a bit of a piss off. More day cruises and need to pick the moments more carefully. Its really not my fault, my car just loves going sideways.

Dont buy many tyres these days for my car, but in the first few years I went through many sets

Hey guys...had a random question.

Are all 4 pot brembos the same size I.e. skyline, evo, fpv, sti, etc??? Except for a different mounting bracket?

Reason I ask is when asking wheel people if their rims clear brembos...it might be easier for some of them if I ask "does it clear brembos on a skyline" or whatever car? As those would be more common knowledge rather than fg brembos....or are they all different thickness/rotor combos?

Is there any others that are the same as fpv 4 pots or are the ford ones unique?

Would be good to know later when I look for new rims...kinda want my next set to be able to clear them (just in case I can ever afford them), and in an 18" (I know it's limited) but I'll go 19's if I have to

Cheers for any info! :)

Most 4 piston brembo you describe are similar , but the different off set of the disc and mounting bracket position the caliper different on models of cars.

So its not as simple as does it clear.

4 piston brembo on my VE company car. Silver is stealth.

Have a look through this thread over on Australian Ford Forums Pete. Should give you plenty of info relating to wheel clearance for FG Brembo's.

For the guys who still drive Manuals, what clutches have you upgraded to? NPC? Mal Wood?

After many years of abuse the stock twin plate is about give up the ghost.

Just throw in a couple of ceramic/kevlar plates , that's what Todd and I run. As long as your fly wheel and pressure plate are ok. Maybe a quick skim and Bobs your uncle.

Simon at Xtreme can sort you out . He fitted ours. Good for over 550rwkw

There has been mention of a NPC twin plate from Rob at monsta torque. Have a word with him.

Apparently they have a light pedal feel. Lighter than the standard stock clutch.

Yeah, Rob mentioned the NPC to me.

Car is track only now, so if it's harsh I don't mind.

Arron, I would have no idea if the current pressure plate is ok. With the new power, it won't last long. I just need it to get through this weekend.
