Anyone know of any decent deals around for an FG XR6T? Somebody smashed my BF2.5 while it was parked then did a runner (was either a bull bar or a utes alloy tray we gather). Have a feeling it's gonna be a write off (impression from insurance agency), if not it's gonna be out of action for a long time. I've only had the thing four months and it's only got 50k on the clock. Pissed off at some people man, unbelievable. I've got an ex-taxi runabout for now, runs like a dream

It is at times like this that you wish you had a dash cam. I am glad that I got a dash cam with parking mode.

I always try and reverse into the parking spot to cover the entrance as much as possible, in cawe an event like this happens.

Sorry to hear about this. Low lifes like that should not have a drivers license or car at all.

I do have a dashcam :( But yeah I forgot to put into park mode, I couldn't work the thing out getting it to do it automatically. Would have been at night time anyway. It was parked on the street at the time, there wasn't really any way to avoid it.

Fair enough, but it still sucks. Are you hoping for a write off?

No not really, I searched for ages trying to find a decent BF. It was exactly what I wanted when I found it in silhouette, run-out bodykit and premium sound dualzone cc. And under 50k kms. I wouldn't mind a write off but I'd of lost a few grand if they did. I don't think there was much damage to the chassis but the cost to replace the damaged panels are probably what's gonna hurt em (front quarter panel, drivers side door and possibly front bumper+headlight). I don't mind the FGs but I love the look of the BF I had.

Damn that means I'm down a stock thermostat. Should have asked XFT to keep the bits when they fitted mine.
