Hey WA peeps....has anyone with aftermarket rims put hub rings on the front? I went to put my 73.1mm OD to 70.5mm ID rings on the front and they didn't fit.

Then saw DBA catalogue and it says 71mm hub for fronts...so question is has anyone used 71.5mm ID on the front; as apparently 71mm ID isn't available (and I figure 0.5mm gap with rings is better than 2.1mm gap without any rings).

Opinions?

Yes sir...that's why its weird...and I questioned the seller regarding why no one else with an FG has ever mentioned it to him....weird that Ford would make a slightly larger hub on the front :/

I'm on 120,000 so well and truly due! Got it cheap and everyone running them on standard turbos are happy so should be fine on an n/a.

Just waiting on the dba t2 brakes and the pads then can drop it off for it all to be fitted and serviced

Do the front bushes at the same time otherwise your cradle will need to come out again in the not to distance future.

Maybe it's just me, but does this look like the older voided style bush? I had one like this in my manual turbo, split it within a week...

CAT600 bushes for me next time I think.
