FIA approved firebomb systems are also approved. Fire extinguishers must be securely mounted and easily accessible by the driver. All extinguishers are to be date tagged and in operational condition and must comply with AS1841. This puts me off completely as I do not want to be putting holes in my upholstery.

The extinguishers come with their own mounting plate/bracket that you bolt to the black addon you see in the below pic. one bolt is far longer on mine which is why you can see ony one thread poking out there. Drill your own hole in the bracket as needed!This is under my driver's seat as I wasn't sure about reaching the passenger area in a crash. Edited 13/11/14 04:55 AM by -Stever- 1
