Yeah hidden cameras are bullsh*t. How is that going to make anyone slow down, given they don't know it's there? If there's a black spot then cool, put a fixed camera with lots of signage and people will actually make an effort to slow down in those areas. Getting an infringement notice a few weeks later is retarded.

The new ones will be fixed, four on the freeway and one on Roe. Doesn't stop people driving without a license, drunk, drugged, tailgating etc.

If they were in black spots and clearly painted bright yellow that's good. I've read England does that and it's actually effective at reducing deaths. But we know they won't be.

What bullsh*t reasoning this is :

So millions is being spent to make people want to slow down on the knowledge that speed cameras exist,

not by knowledge that speeding is more dangerous or to want to be safer drivers. I sure hope Liza Harvey also stands up for the poor guys that end up crashing before they reach the speed camera

The extra money is better spent on keep cool and enjoy the ride TV campaigns, hospital visits for high school children and P Plate car restrictions because things like this actively teach us to drive slower by nature rather than infringements that come in after the speeding has been done.

Lying piece of $H!T...... All WA boxes fit a mobile Poliscan unit in them. Many times up to 3 sometimes 4 locations have units in the fixed locations.

When you guys say that there is one on Roe, I am assuming you are referring to the one on south street exit/entry.
