Something is messed up under there.

It's like it doesnt lock properly into position and slides forward an inch or two under brakes.

Cool. its been doing it for months but I havent had the time or the inclination to pull it out and look at it.

I still havent even washed the ute since the down south cruise !! 

So I might do that too....maybe.

Key off/out and disconnect the battery and give it half an hour before disconnecting the air bag (if fitted) and pre tensioner connectors

Yeah I felt sorry for the bloke sitting between us. He asked if we wanted to swap seats and Morry and I both replied "NO!" Feeling where hurt I think.

Hey guys

 

Couple of questions:

1. Water temp, seems to always be sitting around 1/4 on the temp gauge (to the left). Should I just swap out for a new thermostat, or should I try burping the system? If burping, how is it done on the FG XR6T? If changing thermostat, what is the procedure? Just undo the top hose and thermostat housing, change over and top up coolant? Can I also assume this is related to my sh*tty fuel economy?

2. Outside air temp seems to be always way cooler than what it is? It seems like the temp sensor in the passenger side mirror needs to be replaced. On my 08 FG mkI can I just change the temp sensor, or does the whole mirror housing have to be changed?
