Will I get any error codes when I plug it back in? Something is messed up under there. It's like it doesnt lock properly into position and slides forward an inch or two under brakes. Kinda off putting.

ML24 Member 33 Member For: 9y 8m 29d Posted 29/10/16 12:46 PM Posted 29/10/16 12:46 PM Hey guys Couple of questions: 1. Water temp, seems to always be sitting around 1/4 on the temp gauge (to the left). Should I just swap out for a new thermostat, or should I try burping the system? If burping, how is it done on the FG XR6T? If changing thermostat, what is the procedure? Just undo the top hose and thermostat housing, change over and top up coolant? Can I also assume this is related to my sh*tty fuel economy? 2. Outside air temp seems to be always way cooler than what it is? It seems like the temp sensor in the passenger side mirror needs to be replaced. On my 08 FG mkI can I just change the temp sensor, or does the whole mirror housing have to be changed? Thanks Martin
