And yes, M6 and I are going on a track day, filled with auto 'T's and Boss powered Dinosours...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sounds like your sick and tired of losing on the street to V8'S and auto T's might try the track a :nono:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Has never happened. Ever :nono: About the quickest GT/GT-P I've seen at the Motorplex runs a mid 13 :kissmy::kissmy::nono::pooh:

Nope, he's probably one of these guys that just looks at the ET and judges the car's performance based solely on it

Oh well, it's still probably 16mph more than his car runs

He he this is getting funnier by the second.

Ultimately you may have more power, but down the qtr your getting smoked by cars with ALOT less grunt. And on the street it isnt going to be any better, grip is crap most of the time, and that's where an auto (with less grunt to get grip with) is going to be a lot more tractable, and get a bigger headstart on you.

I havent even got 250rwkws and id run you. Although I would be doing mostly running as my cars getting the gearbox fiddled with atm, in preparation for some grunt. Will you wanna run then?

All my statements relate to standing starts, as in reality who has runs that start at 100kph+ that often, but I know I have fun at the lights all the time.

What Deaks said is right. For most people a traffic light duel is all the racing they will experience. Lights go green and you plant it to 100kmph then back off. This is what most people would be trying to win I believe. :fool:

This being the case I win. :fool:

Geea.

After that you go to the track.

A car should be able to accellerate, stop, and turn. It's the whole package I'm interested in.

Anyone for a track day?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So that rules a Falcon out of the equation.................

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So are you saying we should all be driving McLaren F1s ... might have some difficulty come vacation time trying to fit the missus, 2.5 kids, the dog, the luggage, and hitching up the boat to head down to the coast.
