The Big Vic Weekend. HERE is the main thread Last years one was so successful that we're doing it again. Last year a motley selection of mainly Sydneysiders came down to Melbourne for a few days of R&R. This involved cars being tuned, drinking, cars being raced, dancing girls, cars being inspected, more drinking, BBQ's and more cars and drinking. It also included a towel with brown stains and some margarine, (need to ask DBOSS and Buf-phoon about that one).It will be a great opportunity for the Western Australian's amongst us to have a holiday and meet fellow forum members. Also a chance to race in some good cold Vic air.Intinerary is: Wednesday 5-7-06At this stg the plan is to drive down on the wednesday check in at the Mattew Flinders motel then head out to the Telstra dome for the State of Origin 3 that nightThursday 6-7-06Drop members cars off at respective tuners such as Nizpro HPF which more than likely will be over a 2 day period as it depends on how many cars get finished per day,Thursday night its off to Kittens with craig picking us up in the Kittens busFriday 7-7-06Its back to the tuning shops either to drop some more cars off and/or picking up or sleeping off the night before then in the arvo off to Calder for a night at the dragsSaturday 8-7-06To be confirmed but it looks like we might have a joint NSW/VIC dyno day at HPF or possibly Nizpro then after the dyno day off for a BBQ at Craig's place then on to the Crown casinoSunday 9-7-06Soccer world cup final on the big screen at a venue TBA,Then we can head out to Heathcote for another drag day or head home depending on what your work allows you to do but if you have the monday off after Heathcote we will drive to Gundgai where there's some cheap accommodation for the night and head back fresh on monday morning. The details may change as Deano has put his hand up for the BBQ. It'll be a weekend not to miss. If you'd like any more info send DBOSS a PM he's organising most of the accomidation and such.If you will be coming send me a PM with the days you'll be attending and I'll add you to the list.Geea.

It would cut the expenses and make for a great road trip. Geea.

I will be eager to do this over at some stage while I have my T.....if you have 3 - 4 people it is definately possible but I'd be a mess the whole time and would definately need a designated driver. I get a little silly on road trips.....

That way one can sleep while the other two sit up front. Taking 2 cars just adds to the fun and a bit of safety in numbers.Ok I'll put my hand up to go... as long as the accommodation is available. It's a 4 day trip if you dont drive at night, but if you go non stop the whole way its about 30 hours or something. Oh dear what am I getting myself into Okay lets work this out..3500km, economy around 560km per tank (at 100km/h, lower if speed is higher)Average price of fuel 130c/l, some places being 160c/l65L tankFood for the trip - organised before and taken with about 100 bucks??One way trip... divided by three people. Can someone crunch these numbers please? It's too early
