Guys, just a heads up I will not be joining you on the twisties day 2 as I need to get back to Sydney for work and family reasons. Bloody jury duty on Monday doesn't help either :crybaby:

You probably wouldn't be sober enough anyway, Julian, if past events are anything to go by!:Doh:

What has Wagga, Albury and Young got to do with the Snowy Mtns?  :crybaby:

Us mexicans will be heading through Wodonga, which is next to Albury, on the way up and on the way back

I still have one spare UHF CB radio to loan if anyone is interested.

What a great weekend!!!

Mel and I had a great time.

It was great to meet all the guys and girls from the forum.

Once again DBOSS and Saleen were at their best and I lost count of the amount of mum jokes I heard throughout the night.

And Rob, your right, your car is the best I don't know how we could of been so silly to think otherwise. :spoton:

Both BCL's and GOGO's cars were absolutely amazing on the road! The sound, the acceleration from them is crazy. Mel thanks you again Brian for taking her for a drive. It was hard for her to understand in rwkw terms so I thought a demo would be the best way for her to see the differences between a mildly modded car and one with 'the works'. :spoton:

Both Cro and Turbo6man did a great job controlling the cruise. Thanks alot guys!

Most people made it on the cruise except for a few that had other commitments.

As always a great time, and fantastic to catch up with the NSwelshmen (and woman) and to put a few more faces to names!

Phewww... even managed a tad more decorum this time.... but just in case SORRY..... :roflmbo:

Many many thanks to the guys for organising it - thank you!!!!

A great drive - really good fun, and a nice way to have my first play in the car with the new engine.

The other highlight was getting the opportunity to swap cars with Brian, and actually drive the blue beast.... WOW - that car is just utterly amazing. Not just the power which Brian aptly described and brutal and massive, but the whole set up, ride handling etc is first class... I guess I am going to have to start saving the pennies again... :roflmbo: Thank you Brian for the trust and the opportunity to experience getting behind the wheel of your incredible machine!

Cheers, :w00t2:

Ben.

Just arrived home - a tad under 1000km for the day - driving from 6:30am to 10pm.

Great day, great roads, great people, great cars. Brian's car is beyond description.

Thanks Ivan for the great organisation.

Sorry guys the vid was a waste of time - looks barely OK on the big screen but just too many obstructions in the way to get clear vision of the cars.

  • Are we there yet?

AWESOME WEEKEND!!!! :spoton:

Thanks Cro for your time in organising it and Turbo6man for leading us through the twisties (not bad for an old barge! :tease: )

Thank you and SORRY to everyone at the pub on Saturday night.....

Shaz and Trent,

Thanks for putting me up for the night.... I can't believe the rooms were $270 per night!! Oh well, I was happy to put in my third though :agent::blink: Hope you guys got home safe and sound after the very long drive.

Julian and Rob,

National Parks called, asking about some damage to local gardens in the Jindabine area.... :spit:

Anyway, off to work after way too little sleep....

Cheers,

Aaron.
