Giving the car a few squirts through the City, Wollongong, and Nowra I managed an 11.4l/100km! (at 6000km) Can you believe it... Now something is going on here, because I had my car in at Ford Thursday before the weekend, and I have done this trip before, but usually get around the 13 mark (at 5000km, and I've actually never be below 12!)Anyway, I did notice that at idle (when the car is warm) is telling me I'm using around 1.7- 2ltrs per hour, but before this went into ford it was 1ltr per hour. (So this has gone up, but the driving fuel consumption has gone down???)Any comments would be great
Guest ratman Guests Posted 05/03/03 08:14 PM Posted 05/03/03 08:14 PM Had my auto Turbo for 2 months now (5000Km). By the trip computer I'm averaging low 12s /100 km for mainly freeway cruising and 13s when I mix this with surburban driving. Doing the actual sums after each refill I'm averaging 11.8 lt/100 km for the 2 months.
Guest XR6T BEAR Guests Posted 06/03/03 01:59 PM Posted 06/03/03 01:59 PM my trip computers come down from 20L/100kms when I first got it to 15.2l/100kms 3000kms later and its staying about level unless I go on a long highway run. that's about 50:50 highway to city driving.
