Due to a camera malfunction, unfortunately not. Would have love to have had video of the beast flying (trying not crash) around the track.

Yeah it went good, it was a mechanics day for us so there wasnt any racing, just taking people for rides.

I have just bought a billet steel crank for the escort, from England and I already have a set of H beam rods and fordge pistons in boxes, so next season I should be able to rev it alot harder. The head flows more then I can rev it with the stock'ish bottom end so I should get some more out of it.

My auto should be on its way tommorow too.

It was the oil feed holes for the planterys that got blocked from prevous failures (Bands).

The crap was in the auto cooling system, which is the radiator and the front mounted trans cooler.

Over time the crap worked its way into the auto and blocked the feed holes and wrecked a perfectly good set of masuraty planterys and then put crap through out everything, so it is a fully rebuild job.

I also have to replace all the lines and the cooler, I am going to bypass the radiator and buy a bigger trans cooler for up front. I should be back on the road in about 3 weeks but I think I will be taking it pretty easy for a while as I will be heaps happy to be behind the wheel again.

Count me in :spoton: , It'll be my last night of sanity  before going to the outlaws for two weeks.

Where did you want to meet up?
