For further info the turbo shaft is thicker than the na shaft. Both the front part and rear part of the shafts are slightly shorter, though you could make a turbo shaft work if you were stranded. You'd think they'd be the same length though cos both diffs are open diffs, but I guess they use something different in both of them. The na shaft has a stupid non serviceable uni joint but you can replace it, along with the centre bearing, if you're into fixing stuff.

Yeah the difference must be in the diff, as it is with falcons, but I may as well get to measuring some sh*t for our info tomorrow, while both cars are up in the air. Being the fixing ass mofo that I am, I would fix the tailshaft but I only have 3 days rego on my spare car to sort it out, so will bite the bullet and get a recon shaft tomorrow.
