Looking again, wouldn't it move your injectors tips away from the action a bit?

At WOT that doesn't really matter cos usually the injdc is longer than the intake valve dc. This means the injector is open for longer than the valve is open, so the intake charge "sits" on the intake valve, waiting for it to open. At lower pulse widths you might want to change the injector timing if you had the injector several inches away from the port but I doubt 8.3mm would make a difference. You can change the injector timing with PCMTec so you can see what effect it has if you get curious enough about it one day. Maybe you would have to start it a few degrees earlier?! There is a youtube channel called TunedbyShaneT, he covers some of that.

Nice, thanks. I reckon once I get past the last couple of house jobs and sort a couple of things on the car, it's high time I grabbed a Pulsar GTX and got back into the tuning a bit more
