Using my generator and gasless mig to put my gate back on, cos the shed guys don't understand that it only opens one way.

 

I've got all the spicy arms from weld spatter with no gloves or shirt.

Mate if I could get a grand for running a few beads on an old gate, I'll take up mobile welding lol. It's all sorted so no need to worry about it anymore.

well, I wouldn't say it's a principle... bring it up to them and see if they offer a reparation... if not, then no big deal to you, obviously, since you've gone and solved the problem from your perspective. 

 

But that's just me offering my opinion on the matter :)

Sometimes it's easier just to fix something rather than hassle other people about it, even if it is their fault. The way I see it, I'd rather just fix my gate and be done with it, knowing that it is done properly. It would be a different story if I had to pay for it.
