Ciaran Thooperrrrrrr Legacy Donating Member 2,768 Member For: 15y 26d Gender: Male Location: NOR, Western Australia Posted 05/04/12 05:17 AM Posted 05/04/12 05:17 AM Update on my T:RAC guy went out to the yard to inspect car but as forensics STILL aren't done with it, he could only speculate.Based off visuals, about 8 grand worth in panel damage, air bag went off so that needs replacement, there was no rubber inside the guards, so they werent doing burnouts like they normally see when they get cars in that have been stolen, interiour is still in good condition so they havent abused that at all, reckons they crashed at low speed as the damage on the front is minor, hardly a high speed crash worth of damage.He'll get it towed to a panel beaters when he can to get an accurate damage figure for panels, then towed to Wilkinsons Suspension around the corner to get a mechanical run down to see what's been damaged internally.Said if they come back and say 8k in panels, and 8k in mechanical to be fixed, they might look at it as a total loss.
