sharkey Member 337 Member For: 22y 6m 12d Posted 26/03/04 03:28 AM Posted 26/03/04 03:28 AM I was just looking at the directions to the APS day tomorrow and noticed they have used a Whereis map.Has anyone noticed that on these maps one pixel = 1 metre.The original drawings were 1:10,000 scale which means 10mm on the map = 100m. So with 25.4mm to the inch that means there are 254 metres per inch of map.Then convert the drawings to bitmaps at 254 dpi and you end up with 1 pixel = 1m.You know it really is amazing.
