Crapy old bit of foam padding which was 3 meters away was well ablaze.Picked it up with the welding gloves put it in the middle of the floor and let it burn itself out whilst I put the desk and the broom out....Melted my best mini spirit level too..... :(

Guest Guests Posted 10/04/04 12:01 PM Posted 10/04/04 12:01 PM YCL,that's tame to the way plumers do it,I nearly burnt my L300 mitsi to the ground,its an 85 4WD which had the spare on the back bumper with a swing out thingo,anyway changed the spare to a vice,very handy.So doing some fusion welding in the vice and as it would seem that you know you get the odd pop depending on flame setting, which I got,gogels on no side vision... look up ,thers a f#cking fire in the centre of the van where I keep my clean up rags..the day before I used white sprit to clean up some silicone,so that must have been the ignition source for easy fire.I was home and near the back tap,so put it no probs.. but holy hell,its a wake up call allrite
