Went out for lunch, never going back there any time soon!
Stopped at our favourite restaurant @ Trinity beach, Lunicos, to have some more lunch.
Both of us concluded that we should have just came here in the first place.

chucked this vid together of my morning ride for a laugh.

GoPro battery went flat so only got footage of going up the range.

Some ass wipe with no idea of car/truck maintenance had laid a trail of oil bottom to top.

So it was a case of zigg-zagg and weave my way up.

Down-hill was much more fun 

I placed the camera in a slightly different spot, but 2 close to foot me thinks

my 15w LEDs arrived and they flicker... I think my drivers aren't set up for it :( so now I either change aLl the drivers for my lights or stick with halogens... I hate halogens 

 

any sparkies have any idea?

did you put leds into old halogen downlights? is that the story?

 

if so your transformers are too old. You will need to replace your transformer with an LED transformer that is DC or buy an LED globe that has been designed to work on halogen or AC transformers.

I'd offer a swap for any of my kids but mine seem to be just as bad lately.

 

You can punch them if you like. I punch mine all the time lol just only when wrestling and only as hard as they can punch me give or take.

 

What I have found works with annoying, pain in the ass kids is to redirect them. Ignore the inappropriate behaviour if it is not life threatening and offer them another opportunity for play or interaction that is acceptable for you that they will enjoy as well.

 

One example is them asking for lollies. They ask for a lolly so instead of giving them one and they then run amok for 3 hours, I offer them a glass of milk, a movie on tv with healthier snacks, riding their motorbike or any number of things. I put on my best salesman approach and really sell it to them so they become absorbed into their new activity. I show them that other things are fun af and they soon forget their previous concerns.

 

It's hard to keep this in the front of your mind to start with, for me at least. I always forgot when I started this method and found myself just falling into old ways such as being the "winner" or being a hard ass about the situation.

 

With time you will be able to see what works for you and your kids.
