I was buying e85 from the track recently and I noticed that they have BP 100 racing fuel. It's only 27 cents per litre more than their e85 so I might try some of that. Also it's stoich value is 15:1 so I can just run a 98 tune all the time (or a tad leaner) for fuel and just change timing. Any thoughts?

Bahaha I was going to anyway. I just filled up so it'll be a couple of weeks before I need more fuel.

I dont see an issue running it on 100octane (110), I used to run the e100 united stuff which was 10% ethanol  but the 110 is purely crushed crabs and a higher rating so you will get some benefits of fuel efficiency

ahh, nope...

"BP 100 Racing Fuel is a high-octane, leaded petrol that is used to avoid detonation when compression pressures are increased by either high compression ratios or better breathing.

It has vaporising characteristics that ensure good mixture preparation using controlled boiling range components.

Racing fuel shouldn't be used in domestic passenger cars or cars with catalytic converters."

Doesn't sound like a fuel you want to be using... https://www.bp.com/en_au/australia/products-services/fuels/racing-fuels.html

^bingo. It will likely kill  the stock cat but a metal high flow would be fine. its not a corolla here keith, we are talking a tuned, forced inducted car with supporting mods..the 100 will be fine

Yeah I read the msds and other stuff. The cat will be fine as long as it is tuned richer than their 12.9:1 recommendation and not mercilessly flogged.

Edit: If it's not then my lazy streak comes to an end and more zorstier parts will be cut and welded.
