Any idea if its illegal to drive with 19's on the front and 17's on the rear on the streets?

you should be fine man. I was pulled over with 17's on the front and 16's on the rear ( :innocent: ) and they didn't say anything about it.

It is definitely illegal so if you do it be prepared to cop a yellow sticker. It always happens to the unlucky bugger that does it for a track day/drag event etc such as yourself but the halfwits that drive round with 20's on the front & stockies on the rear permanantly seem to get away with it :spoton:

Just throw the 17's in your boot & change them down there. 5mins before & 5mins after you're done should allow enough time :innocent:

Yeah I might do that. Last time I did the skid pan I had the good tyres on the rear and im spewing I didnt slap on the 17's and burn them to hell haha

Only thing is then I will have no grip for the long track, and I will get crap track times.

unless I keep the 19's on for the track, and then swap tyres for the skid pan

I'm using odd 18's.

ba 18's on the front to cover the brembos. bf 18's on the back.

gonna buy good rubber for this one. used sh*t tyres last time and it was crap on the track.

mike, you will find that you will alternate between the pad and the track, so that might not be very good time management hahaha

Just use good tyres on the skidpan as well... You're made of money! Haha
