pretty impressive for a 5 banger D

guess it'd handle a bit better yeah? or still undecided?

DJ

the fine was wicked! handled really well and is pretty quick, Mark drove it harder than me, good thru corners, but doesnt have the "whoosh" factor of the 6 but I was in and out of both cars I definately got value for money. Couldnt tell you how many runs I had.

Thanks mat for organising and to everybody who had pointers on how to do a burnout, I dont think I've mastered it but had a hell fun time trying!!!

cheers

D

D, I got some good ones of XR5T. Want plates blurred?

Great cars those. Decent dash, door sills, voice recognition (when you werent yelling at her :P), nice interior and to top it off, bombed lambo-esque rims!

Thanks mate for organising the day.

Also feel free to post some of those pics and vids with plates. Ford arent going to see my car again. My Avatar shows them clearly anyway.

you were not kidding either my young bloke (in the pram ) all the way home was saying burnout daddy burnout :3gears::spit:

looked like everyone had fun with no breakages

is ther gunna be a xmas pub meet up??? gota catch up with lil bodes for a sticker

Tread is over rated anyways

No breakages on my end but I put that down to a top tune & well looked after car on Rob's part. I nailed it all day & as everyone knows it wasn't exactly 'Turbo Friendly' weather...

There will be some sort of catch up for Chrissy with late notice & will be posted in the WA section when details are finalised.

Edit skills are no better than my driving ones. Here's the first one the rest will have to wait till w/end

th_xr5skidpan_0001.jpg

will get the "real" cars up next

D

That thing out-handles my boat by so much! I could hit corners double the speed in the 5 with no torque steer or anything... Very well setup car for a Factory Spec Ford!!

Nice driving on the skidpan too D :spoton:

Thanks alot for organising again Mat... Was a top day even though all spots weren't filled :sofa:

The Collie Day/Night/Weekend is a great idea & definitely needs to go ahead after Chrissy. With a decent Motel, track rental, fuel, food/drink etc we should get out of it for less than $400ea which isn't bad for 2 days & 1 night (Sat Morning drive there, Sat Arvo/Night for driving, Sat Night/Sun Morning for sinking beverages, Sun Morning or Arvo for hungover drive home) I reckon.

Just post away Mat. They probably can see the plates in the video and Ive got no chance of removing that...
