Hey I'm sure your dad was watching and would be as stoked as you are.Long live the KU31's I say, full tyre pressure and they bring home the bacon. I hear Simon was thinking of putting them on his blue ute for the next time he heads down the plex! So how many runs did you get and were there many people there racing? I had 4 runs. You can see the slips in the pic up there for the 12.21 @ 120(first run) and 12.06 @ 121(third run - wheelspun the 2nd big-time for a 13.0!)As I rolled to the slip collection area the normal lady pointed me to the right hand lane which got me a bit excited...different shirted woman leans onto the sill and informs me and I go "Does this mean what I think it means?!" with a big sh*t eating grin. Tells me I ran an 11, said well done as it was final runs, gave me a nice double sided sheet of what you need to run 11's and 10's, said come back after you have the loops/harness/ANDRA super street license (which as was said can be bought on the night)!

The evening certainly started off interesting so I'm glad it worked out well for you My night started off with a lazy first pass of 13.5@109 to suss things out then a gentle takeoff resulted in 13.06@118 2.360ft. Things looked promising but from there it just got worse. 60ft's up around the 2.8/3's and I think the second last run was a 13.8. MPH was reasonable but couldn't get off the line cleanly. Fkn manuals. On a brighter note, the video on the new iphone 4 is simply top notch! If it had a zoom it'd be perfect. Edited 13/10/10 03:43 PM by Mat
