Most of you will have seen the notices in the Advertisers section about what is happening with the X-Cal 1 flash tuners, and as a result those threads are going to get clogged, so you can discuss it here...

I am hoping this doesn't continue down this track. I hope that someone surely at Herrod and SCT can make this better in the future. I hope my X2 doesn't become a paper weight soon either. I hope that a class action against herrod is not needed for a wake up call. Would SCT just pull the pin for support completely?? A very delicate subject I am sure. It would be good to hear from Herrod and or SCT to respond to peoples opinions. Maybe they don't even know what the effects are to customers and workshops??

I will be ringing consumer affairs if this happens.

as well as writing to all the magazines about herrods /sct customer service.

wtf so I have to lose 3 tunes $340 original purchase of xcal 1 $500.pay for the box to be unlocked $120?

send it back to herrod for a $200 credit on a xcal 3 $1000?

so I get the xcal 3 for $800

$1960 out of pocket and then I need to get my car tuned again!!!

another say $340

so $2300 out of pocket!!!

for that herrod and sct can get stuffed!!!

I will go to sniper etc

maybe herrod can come on here and explain to us why we would buy xcal3?

after sct and herrod have shafted all xcal 1 owners.

the bit I dont understand is we have to return our cars to stock.so interesting with mods to car.

then get the box unlocked.

send it to herrod for $200 off the new xcal 3 wich is $595 with rebate

go back to our tuner.

pay another $300 to $500 for tunes

and have a smile on our face.

what a joke
