Got my ute out today and thought I'd check the manifold bolts. As per normal found many loose and one stud with nut on the back lower of the turbo had left the party, lucky for me though it was chilling out on the engine mount heatshield so simply put it back in, some monkey before me had been doing some poor spanner work to that nut though.

Also found some loose clamps that got tightened then thought should go for drive and see if it improved. Well it improved and hauls nicely, but the clutch disapproved of the whole matter and now stinks from a spin up at half throttle in 4th. Might have to do the clutch sooner rather than later.

Thrashed it around Wakefield park and had a blast. Only my second track day but I'm definitely in love.

I dont have a pic of it from the rear, ill take one when I get it back from ford tomorrow (warrenty work again, not been fixed AGAIIINN :@)

after useing the tinting paint I would say it would work well if you could get it to stick to glass, not sure on how you would go with that.

I havent had it in for a wheel alighnment yet, ill see if I can book it in for tomorow or friday (or should I wate for the springs to sag first?),its always had a bit of neg camber, doesnt look that bad by eye. hopefully I can get away without a camber kit.

cheers, andy
