Yup and yeah hand tight

This is the first change I've done on this car, had it about 2 months and the previous person just tightened the sh*t outa it

I had one of them hand ones and broke it getting my mums oil filter off.

bought that other one and best 15 bucks I ever spent.

hahah I wish. was going to attempt it but luckily I didn't cause I would have seen that chain guide and spent the rest of the day scratching my head. steel sent me the pic above.

plus some special tools are required for the job

Ciaran at least you didn't leave the rubber ring on from the old filter. First change I ever did, that happened. New oil in, new filter on and start her up...fine for a couple seconds until pressure built then PFFFFFTTTTT thpbpbpbp....oil down in clean garage. Two rubber rings right on top of each other does not make a good seal :)

Cannot get the stain out. What works to remove oil marking on cement?

Retainers are easy. Need a quality bendy magnet

:) my SP one worked a treat and was only like $29 bucks
