Keep it flex, rubber or silicon. Kev sent me solid fittings and now its quite noisy. I don't care as with intake and exhaust I can only just hear it. But I will guarantee most people will think its way to loud. Any rate if it pisses me of its easy to change back.One bonus is, it will be quickly evident if the pump ever fails. 1

So far so good.
