"Captain Retard" have you had you car since new?

Looks like someone did a custer fascia swap on it. That text is from an F6X fascia. What makes me suspect that it was swapped is your techo needle does not rest on 0 like it should.

There was a guy on AFF selling these years ago and I bought one and put it in my BA XR6T. They are F6X style fonts and they made them to suit F6 and XR6 clusters.

I'll dig up a picture of my old BA cluster when I'm home a post it up.

Thanks heaps Arron. Mines is the same as yours.

Keith, if you look carefully at captain's cluster, the numbers are a different font and it also highlights where the redline is.

Seems like XtRmn8 is on the money. I also thought it was an F6x cluster

No I haven't had it since new but I know the previous owner and the owner before him is a forum member who gave me a pretty good honest history of the car.

But faaarked if I know!

Ralph said his BF F6 is the same as mine soooo.....

I thought I read a thread about this somewhere a few months ago.

Something about inconsistent FPV dash styles but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure my dash is original.

Could be original but your rpm neddle looks like its sitting above the zero mark? Mightjust be the picture though.

I recall when I swapped the fascia in mine I ended pulling it out again because a couple of the neddles were not 100%.

I've had two BA F6's (of course they are identical clusters) and they look exactly the same as both Arronm's and bamk2f6tornado's. There is no highlighting of red-line on the 8,000rpm B-series cluster (that I've seen or know of).

I've also been in a few BF F6's (auto's) and they all have the same cluster except the addition of the auto modes etc.

If Captain's is different then it's probably F6X like mentioned above.

Captain's marking of the red-line section looks a LOT like the marking of the red-line in the FG's. Could be custom? ->

This thread indicates that it's probably custom. -> http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?p=3136877

I am pretty sure "Captain Retard"s is a custom job. Someone swapped the cluster fascia.

I'll post pictures of the one I put in my old BA.

Just looked at over 50 clusters in BA BF FPV. All are the same as mine.

It looks like these guys have had there clusters changed. Ralph , post up a pic of yours.

Here is an 08 GT last of the BF
