Where do I get me those locking things arronm?

I your car a B or F series SSBB? Does anyone know if the B series exhaust manifold is different internlly to the FG series?

When I tightened all my turbo side sh!t up the bottom front housing bolt (turbo to exh manifold) is completely gone and tbh I believe it was never put in my TT as the remaining three were tight as a nuns nasty... Everything else otoh was as loose as a goose!

I broke the diff bush tonight :(

pretty sure anyway, it was fine on Thursday working on the car, but tonight I gave it a hit then, thud thud thud thud thud thud. look under the car, got the missus to shift it between D and R and you can visibly see the big tear on the bush, and a lot of movement.

The car has 95k on it now, and the diff bush was last done under warranty (OEM bush) at around 30k.

Cheers mate. Unfortunately even though the oem rubber is the quietest it has that flaw of turning to dust over time! I've been using the Whiteline brand nolathane in my F6X and they are excellent. Softer than the boat rollers that nolathane and pedders sell and are farking BLACK!!! I'm sticking with the Whiteline from now on but the TT is opposite to the Falcons as it chews up every bush in the front end and my rear is like brand new apart from the bump stops which are foam anyway...

Found the source of the leak in the drivers door window seals.....

Now i just need to find a decent molotov cocktail recipe to sort out the people that did the work.

Squeeze some Weatherstrip adhesive along where you think is leaking and either wrap the edge of the window in glad wrap or Vaseline it and wind the window up for a few days until it sets... Hopefully it's now sealed!

Thanks mate,the area concerned is covered by the warranty for the insurance repair so ill pursue that first.

Got rid of a heap of rattles from the rear inner guards.

Swapping those average scrivets out for some nutserts does the job pretty well.

The new/old car had a birthday today. Copped pretty much an entire days worth of polishing and then treated to some Modesta Glass paint protection. Considering its age and a few little imperfections aside I reckon it came out pretty bloody well! Excuse the average rims, they were free with the car...and I still need to wind the coilovers down a bit.

Cheers Kimbo. Nah, didn't do it myself. Dale from OCDetailing did this. Very few people around I'd trust my car with more than Dale. We were both pretty impressed with how well this car came up in the end. Unfortunately there's a few tiny chips on the boot lid from the previous owner, can't really justify the $300-400 to get it resprayed...especially with resprays being more noticeable on black cars. Either way, car looks much better.

Tyre black flicks off everywhere...
