after a much needed oil change drove down to murray bridge to fill up with E85. a quick flash tune and the drive home through the hills was amazeballs. 

 

20rwkw on paper doesnt sound like much at the 350ish rwkw level, but the ethanol tune is much more aggressive and the Bum dyno certainly feels it...

Hey Panda,

 

We're looking at doing a Vic/SA/others cruise early next year.

 

Is a day in the hills possible on E85? or out of the question?

There's one servo at Murray Bridge as far as I know and the rest are in the northern and western suburbs. 

 

It could be done if it was planned right but you'd pretty much have to start at Murray Bridge and end there unless you wanted to drive through the suburbs. 

 

That wouldn't be all that bad for the guys coming from interstate as it is closer to get to Murray Bridge from Melbourne and closer to leave.

Even if you only got 200 km from a tank driving from Murray Bridge and returning there via a hills cruise that should be doable. Maybe a jerry wouldn't go astray.

the back way from murray bridge to littlehampton is a good drive rather than the freeway- through Monarto, Callington and Kanmantoo and Nairne (where I live)

 

on the return trip would also go through bridgewater and aldgate, through germantown hill and def go through Hahndorf.
