hahaha never mind. was about to say you are taking the turbo off anyway but even though tight, its doable with just the dump removed.

Yeah seen it done on a car 2256,, is tight and do able but turbo has to come off anyways for the modded housing

Jet- I change my mind more then I change my jox.. Going o/s next year and need to save.. The 5 will put me 10k behind

I would recommend turbo pulled apart for welding flapper shut.

Bit of slag on the turbine or current through the bearings wouldn't be too fun

make sure if you weld the gate insitu make sure you attached the earth clamp to the compressor housing for maximum welding current distribution.
