Found out the old man doesn't have one..will be getting one sooon! Will order the $75 snow foam liquid sh*t, someone linked it here not long ago. Will get that and once delivered will go and get the washer.

I got a K 2.400 from Bunnings. It was listed for $269 but I got it for $249 and got them to throw in a suction hose to use with a bucket (if we ever get water restrictions again). They had cheaper models but I got this one cause it had a longer hose (7m instead of the normal 4m most of the cheaper ones had) and it came with a couple of attachments. I think the cheapest one was $89 but it had a short 3m hose and no attachments at all other than the trigger gun. The first 'proper' model was $132 (on special, normally $149).

Can you use normal car detergent or do you have to use the fancy foam stuff in the lance?

You can use normal car wash but it isn't as good

Snow foam liquid works best followed by truck wash which works almost as well and then car wash if you don't have either of the first two

They all come out the same just the proper stuff will stay on the car the longest

When I get the chance I might make a thread on snow foam for all those that are interested or curious

I use the old truck wash stuff in my Karcher,cant remember what its called now, let it soak for a few mins, hose it off, then use meguiars car wash and wash it by hand.

I'm just having a guess but it's probably one from the Chemtech range.

Can get truck wash's etc at most car places, although cheaper to go to somewhere like Colrain that specialise in trucks,

the truck wash stuff is pretty harsh for the paint no? maybe EFSIX could confirm?
