Underestimated what was required BUT the first thing essential is preparation. Which goes a long way to eliminating failures.

You can be extremely prepared and things still fail. That's racing. It's a process of racing, breaking and building stronger. I have had my fair share of failures, most of which I could not have prepared for (apart from going all out to start with!). If you plan on racing with big hp (I had had about 500 hub kw at RW) expect some breakages, irrespective of preparation, along the way. That's racing. 1
