Got sick of having to reboot my Netgear Nighthawk D7000 modem router every few weeks when it would drop signal, so been doing a bunch of reading about stable setups for FTTN NBN and today I bought a cheap TP-Link W9970 modem to run in bridge mode into the Orbi RBK50 mesh WiFi setup l also bought today.

Currently sitting on the crapper right at the back corner of the house (furthest point from the modem) and I've got full Wi-Fi signal, 48Mbps download speed over Wi-Fi with a Wi-Fi connection speed of 465Mbps.

Not bad!
