Local Council. I had a pre lodgement meeting to get everything ready to submit my house plans for approval.

I got all the paper work and need to copies A2+A4 and 2 copies all the forms and not to forget everything then needs to be put on CD. that's doesnt bother me its what comes next does.

I was then given a run down on price. After adding it all up total cost $4500.........WTF!!

Price for lodgement comes down to how much will it cost to build. I then said cost will be 100K they didnt laught.......oops.

I think its BS. it shouldnt matter if your house cost 100k or 1mil the fee should be a flat rate. EG $900/1000 not on a scale form.

The more the house cost to build the more the council charge. WRONG!!
