who said it was funny. I know alot of navy people but I know 1 in particular (in sydney) who is exactly like what fred stated and pretty much everyone on that boat is almost the same (but then they are "engineers" that are in question.

As the years go on I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the attempts to help my parents with anything...


They refuse to take any form of advice... its as if they dont trust me because I am their daughter so they must know better.

Theyre entitled to do whatever they want.. that's not what pisses me off. . what pisses me off is that the financial termoil theyre burying themselves into is going to be my problem in less than 5 years when my dad retires... and they dont even see the flashing neon sign infront of them saying "YOURE GOING TO HAVE NO MONEY"


Mums never worked. used to living on Dads 75k a year salary... hes got a couple hundred in Super and NO SAVINGS... nope ... none... like wouldnt know how to hold onto money if they tried.
Dads alwasy just brought home the bacon.. mum runs the money... dreadfully.

My efforts of hooking them up with my financial advisor... nope... nothing...

Even something as simple as telling them to stop going to the same old accountant who gets dad a fhhhuk all refund every year coz she doesnt claim for anything but laundry allowance ... gets met with... oh well too late we already did it.

like for 3 years ive been saying to change and ill help u ... nup... theyd rather miss out on thousands on dollars....

which is just more money out of my pocket when mum blows all dads super and has nothing to live off in 5 years...
