First week of the new job done and dusted... flat out the whole time, so much to do and so many areas of focus. Absolutely love it. I love the challenge and I love being busy, but more than anything I already love everyone I work with. Friday everyone said it felt like I’d been there forever and it does, totally like home. Finally feeling challenged and productive has made me feel 100x better within myself mentally and I can tell it’s reflecting directly onto my physical health as well, which is huge atm Also had my first round of treatment with no major side effects, which is ASSOME 2

Love Japan - just came back from 3 1/2 weeks holiday there (with a few days of work which I did cos I happen to be there - Misses went on Ginza and Omotesando shopping spree whilst I was in meetings in Tokyo ... ). I'm no expert by a long shot but things like getting Yen out of 7-Eleven and Japan Post Bank ATMs at a favourable Aussie exchange rate, getting an ICOCA card for subways, catching the Shinkansen (bullet train) using Smart Ex app, buying a Softbank or NTT Docomo prepaid data SIM at BIC Camera stores and so on - just did it so it's still fresh in my mind
