Snow Foam

just wanted to show everyone that's curious my experiences with snow foam so far after I starting using it about a month ago

First of all what I have used

Snow foam lance

Ive found experimenting with different things what has worked for me which was to buy the pressure cleaner linked above and a snow foam lance off ebay

ive used those 3 liquids in it and have found the snow foam concentrate to be the best as it comes out as a thicker foam and sticks to the car better

truck wash does well too but not quite as well as the snow foam probably 75% as good and slightly better than normal car wash

the car wash worked but did not stay on the car as long as the others

I have only had a months experience with this stuff so I am not an expert but I believe my method is giving me a great result

and I will add to this post hopefully on the weekend when my car gets snowfoamed to show how much I use and what mix works well

any questions, comments, constructive criticism, ideas feel free to ask I would be happy to see this great idea take off and if I can I would like to improve my car care techniques

I think its a load of bullocks.

Offers No difference to the local car wash other than being able to do it in your drive and having to wait for the foam....then having to use a fckin cloth anyway.

I spent 30 bucks on a normal hose spray pot (found at bunnings in the lawn care area)

I use cheap repco branded carwash in the pot. I then clean with my normal mitt and gold class wash.

I find swirls in the ego paint are reduced immensely as the additional suds act as a good lubricant perhaps? I also find road grime comes off far easier.

That's good to hear old mate that's the main reason I started using it to reduce swirls in the paint and to make washing easier

Not quicker but easier

How many litres of snow foam concentrate do you use per wash?

You only use about an inch in the foam lance bottle the water down the rest of the bottle

So about the same as a normal bucket wash

If you are washing your car with a swirling hand action your doing it all wrong from the start.

If you really want to make your car easy to clean then do some research on permenon and use that.

Makes dirt pretty much fall off car and paint will feel like glass!!

Application is spay on wipe off.

That's why I like this snow foam

There is no swirling and the only time you touch the paint is to dry it, only problem is that you still have to scrub it if it is very very dirty but I wash once a week so it never gets that bad

And I tried this trick I Saw on you tube and it reduced the amount of water I had to chamois off by heaps

Snow foam is really only a pre wash stage to remove abrasives and dirt etc you still normally need to hand wash the car with 2 bucket method, I personally pre wash the car thoroughly with snow foam pressure washer etc then 2 buckets with grit guard and a decent microfibre hand mitt you will still get micro swirls etc with anything you do even washing the car with snow foam then pressure washers pushes the dirt across the surface.

What do you mean by scrub?

As I said, if you use permenon it makes the surface hydrophobic and hard for dirt to stick to paint work. This means a lot less friction to be used on paint surface.

It puts a shine to paint work can be used on all surfaces and is UV protectant.

Very easy apply after you cleaned cars surface you put 10ml permenon in 200ml of distiled water and mist on to surface with spay bottle.

You then wipe on panels with microfiber cloth and use another to dry off.

You re-apply if you run finger along paint and it grips or makes that squeaking noise.

The paint just feels so slick and re application approx 3months.

I can't believe how easy the car is to clean most time quick highpressure hose and then a wipe of all panels in one direction with microfiber cloth and some times with a little quick detail spay.

It cost approx $45 for 100ml.
