thanks mate, I think ill have to change that record

Good luck with that large turbo! You'll need to have a bulletproof driveline, that launch control/flatshifting program & a higher rev limit than factory to make use of the 45R...

Andrew has the set-up to beat this record, and I've got the drive to support him in chasing and beating it too. We've built his engine tough as nails, capable of revving to 7000rpm, so the 45 will sing, coupled with his extremely high flowing exhaust this shouldn't be an issue.

The focus will be on getting the car to launch hard and hold traction in the lower gears

Totally agree mate, but Brian was also only running low profile Toyo R888s when he ran, and if I may say so he was still very green at drag racing!

This will be no easy task, but I beleive we have the set-up to do it.

There's been plenty of manual setups that should go quick, should run 10's - or even 9's. But they never do.....

Bring the thing over to WA and I'll give it a proper thrashing :P

Good luck with it though - but you still haven't learnt that revs wontt get you there, even 7000 of them :) I don't rev my evo to that and it's set at 7800k.

Keep us posted - to date we haven't seen a time posted in this thread, even a ballpark or starting one - plenty of questions though????

Any more info?
