With the tyre pressures they are saying pump em higher because the assume most muppets are running like 32-34psi. They told me 40 is fine maybe even a little less (I had 40 in mine)

They also said they only run 37odd psi in their v8 supercar but after I thought that's probably on racing slicks so maybe different story there?

Dowen, it was in the wrong thread. Ralph sorted it for me.

Turbotrana, I don't see why not. I spoke to Patricia and she said that there is undercover area where spectators can watch.

Apparently there is free coffee and tea facilities as well.

Turboboink, please tell me you coming even though you haven't had the work done.

Just put a tune in that restricts the car to 300rwkw and you will be okay.

:P

^^^this. im going and ill be close to the lowest powered car there.

yeah, depends on tyre size Marco. I know 20's are a 40-ish minimum for safe driving. im going to go to 46psi, max on my Nittos are 50psi (is it odd I know this even though my car is 1500kms away from me? may be my obsession for tyres). was told in a defensive driving course once that you should find you max and drop 2-5psi and run at that. not a fan of that myself but im sure some people use it. ive got alot of years experience racing off road (15 in motocross and 10 in off road racing, buggies and such) but very little when it come to the black stuff. so I listen when someone like Luke chimes in.

I was speaking to a tyre store employee who had 20's on and a bit of camber on his fronts, so he ran 50psi to fill out the middle and reduce it scrubbing on the inside.... so bit of room to move in pressure

for more info (about anything tyre related, its a great site) check out

Now the question do I wear my 18x9" rims with yokohama s drive on the front or my 17"s with flogged out falkens. I'm thinking the flogged out tyres may be more fun
