I'm going on a cruise on Friday night hosted by a few guys from Curtin Uni.

Meet is at 7pm @ Curtin Uni

- To the coast

- Meet point @ Krispy Kreme Whitfords

- Tunnel runs

- Meet point @ South Perth foreshore

I may be doing a pre meet with some mates at 6ish around vic park somewhere. If anyone wants to join feel free to head down...I don't even go to Curtin. 140 odd people attending on the facebook event.

Watch out for over excited drivers rear ending you (or being one of said over excited drivers). Big groups act like a full moon and make people forget their manners.

Having said that, I've attended a few of the Antilag cruises (one on this coming 7th of March...) which are around 300-500 cars and not had any issue (just a close call on the first one). They are great fun but expect police presence walking around meet points or even setting up cameras along the route like happened last cruise (at 1am etc as well).

I really am not a fan of big turnouts, but prefer model specific club/forum based cruises, always much better and with some recent routes more fun.

The numbers suck but I LOVE the diversity. Get to see old 70's 80's and 90's as well as new performance/muscle cars being driven as the makers intended. The odd exotic as well, cruised with a pair of Lambo Gallardos on one run, good times.

There will be Perth cruises from now on.

I have zero social life. Zero. Welcome to the taxi world.

Was on the phone to girlfriend earlier tonight (she drives a taxi as well). She thought it was pretty pathetic that I met up with a bunch of blokes in a carpark and went for a slow drive together (she's not a car person, this stuff bores the hell out of her).

Oh yeah... what socialising with other people have you done lately?

Same as me. Zero.

So, if people wanna meet up on a Sunday arvo somewhere for a cruise then I'm more than happy to lead it.

Start throwing suggestions for routes, destinations, etc.

Probably been done a tone of times, but a cruise incorporating Bailup Ford museum would be cool.
