...and too smart to stand around or run in a straight line up the road when I am bearing down on them, the blighters. Never managed to pop one. Makes me wonder what the cars are that do manage to pancake them.

Nailed one in Ole Yella running DBOSS from Melbourne to Sydney on the way home from BVWE.

Rear bar destroyed. popped tail light. A very loud double thump and bang.

Needless to say . didn't bother with the late night vet

I remember we were chasing after an emu on a farm up Bullsbrook once and nearly came a cropper, we didn't realise he was on the other side of a ditch until we nearly went into it.

The first thing I was told was blue eyes are sheep, red eyes are foxes and rabbit's. Don't shoot at the blue eyes.

The second thing I learn't is rabbit's are bloody fast and hard to catch.
