Wouldn't worry about the coiled up cable stripes. 99% of gas hot water system cables are like that and I've seen no problems

All it will more than likely power is the spark for the pilot light and the electrics for the thermostat and digital display.  Low current stuff

Would have been like $6k to install solar...pass.

sorry, I thought they were cheaper than that

I also have access to quality tradesmen who don't charge an arm and a leg for their services and that makes a huge difference

I still can't figure out what the differences between the infinity and the builders version (B26) I got was...other than the B26 being a bit cheaper...

Haha lazy FTW! I think I should be able to add the wireless too, as there's a module that connects up to the hot water system box and talks to the wireless controller. I think the "touch" model comes with that included or something.

yer look into it

im only going this with the controller as my little girl has a bath every night and again im too lazy to modulate the temperature with a effin gravity hot water (you will know how hard it is if you had one) . its too dam hard

so the plan is to set it and run the water. and be able to turn it down so no one can burn themselves :)
